The 2009 ACMC Philippine conference supports the 10th year of International Youth Day (IYD), an awareness day designated
by the United Nations.

It brought together groups and individuals interested in issues of cultural changes and challenges confronting the youth in an endangered demographic. It will be an opportunity for the participants to discuss issues on the role of media, government, and the academic community in Asia in promoting youth empowerment.

Student Grand Prix
MEDIA IN ASIA:

A TOOL FOR HUMAN RIGHTS EDUCATION & MONITORING
 

The Student Grand Prix is an annual research competition of the ACMC that follows the theme of the organization's annual conference.

The 2008 theme on Human Rights is linked to the 60th anniversary of the UN Declaration on Human Rights, celebrated last December 10, 2008.
