What does it take to join this dynamic organization?

Membership requirements
Institutional membership
Open for universities and colleges in the field of mass media and communication, and language education. Applications are made by the head of the institution by sending a letter of request using its official letterhead. After its approval, a certificate of membership and a copy of the Media and Culture textbook will be mailed to the institution. Other benefits are listed below.

Individual membership
Open for faculty of mass media and communication and language education. The applicant should fill up the official application form found here. This is then emailed to <secretariat@asianmediacongress.org>. The applicant should wait to be contacted before paying membmership fee. The Country Director, in concurrence with the Baord of Directors reserves the right to reject an application. A certificate of membership will be delivered to the applicant and can now enjoy the benefits as member of the Congress.

Associate membership
Open for undergraduate students of mass media, communication and language education as well as non-communication/linguistics practitioners. The applicant should email a letter of request for membership stating his/her affiliation and interest in ACMC. After approval of the application and payment of membership fee, a certificate of affiliate membership will be delivered to the applicant and can now enjoy the benefits as member of the Congress.

  • opportunity for the member to be elected in the National Councils
  • discounts in all Congress simulation activities
  • priority in consideration for publication in ACMC Journals and textbooks
  • priority in being considered for fellowships and grants

  • invitation to participate and/or present a paper in all Congress simulation activities
  • other benefits that the Legislative Council will announce
  • e-copy of the current year's ACMC Journal
